Le travail du calligraphe français Michel D'Anastasio est en Europe centrale à ce jour méconnu. Avec son concept unique, il dépasse les possibilités de la calligraphie comme un art de l’écriture sur papier, verre ou sur toile. Les lettres et les textes hébraïques magnifiquement calligraphiés sont soigneusement mis en valeur dans une scène raffinement éclairée, enrichis d'une expression de la nature presque théâtral ; les compositions sont photographiées, ainsi, l'œuvre final n'est plus seulement la calligraphie en elle même, mais la photographie-médiatrice qui contient le travail écrit. Le caractère profondément méditatif de sa calligraphie atteint une dimension nouvelle et mystique : très personnelle et révélatrice.
L’exposition « Judaica Calligraphy » permets aux Pragois de découvrir une sélection des créations de Michel D'Anastasio de ces quatre dernières années.

Jewish Community of Prague
Work of French calligrapher Michel D'Anastasio is in central Europe so far unknown. With his unique artistic concept he surpasses the possibilities of calligraphy as an artwork beautifully written on paper, glass or canvas. Masterfully pictured Hebrew letters and texts are thoroughly arranged to the dramatically lighted environment adding to its expression almost theatrical nature; the whole composition is being photographed so the final work of art is not anymore the calligraphy by itself but the picture which intervenes the scene containing written works. Deeply meditative character of his calligraphy has though obtained new and mystic dimension: very personal and revealing.
Exhibition Judaica Calligraphy presents to the Prague public the selection of Michel D'Anastasio's creations in the last three years.

Židovská obec v Praze
Dílo francouzského kaligrafa Michele D'Anastasio je ve střední Evropě dosud neznámé. Svou jedinečnou uměleckou koncepcí přesahuje možnosti kaligrafie jako díla krasopisně napsaného na papíře, skle nebo plátně. Mistrovsky vypracovaná hebrejská písmena a texty totiž pečlivě aranžuje do dramaticky osvětleného prostředí, dodávajícího jeho vyjádření až divadelní charakter; celou kompozici potom fotografuje, takže výsledným dílem není jen kaligrafie sama o sobě ale fotografie, která nám scénu obsahující psané dílo zprostředkuje. Hluboce meditativní charakter jeho kaligrafií tak dostává nový, mystický rozměr - velice osobní a výmluvný.
Výstava Judaica Calligraphy představuje pražské veřejnosti výběr z D'Anastasiovy tvorby posledních tří let.
Výstava probíhá ve spolupráci s Francouzským institutem v Praze
a za finanční podpory Ministerstva kultury České republiky.

HEBRAIC ART IN CENTRAL EUROPE
Exposition itinérante sur l’art de la calligraphie hébraïque de l’artiste Michel D’Anastasio.
Elle parcourra les régions principales de l’Europe centrale, habitées par les juifs « ashkénazes » en symbolisant leur identité culturelle forte est importante, par sa langue et de ses écritures hébraïques, donc l'hébreu.
Mes œuvres seront présentées sur des supports comme le papier et surtout avec ce nouveau concept créé par l’artiste, qui est de photographier ses propres œuvres tout en exploitant l’univers de la photographie ou les jeux de lumières, d’ombres, et des couleurs apportent une grande richesse étonnante au symbole de chaque lettre hébraïque calligraphiée.
L’exposition commencera en Avril 2010 dans la synagogue « Jubilée » à Prague dans le centre historique juif pour une durée de 6 mois.
Et je suis à la recherche d’autres lieux d’expositions dans les pays d’Europe centrale : Tchéquie, Slovaquie, Hongrie, Autriche, Pologne, Slovène, Allemagne, Liechtenstein et la Suisse, etc.
NOMADIC EXHIBITION ON ART OF HEBREW CALLIGRAPHY

The show will travel to all main regions of Ashkenazi culture in Central Europe which should represent hommage to this people of strong and important cultural identity, it's language and writings of old testament (Torah). Exhibition presents works on paper and works of new artistic concept: to capture writing on camera in the chiaroscuro ambiance helping to animate colours and riches of symbolism to each letter of hebrew alphabet.
Show starts in April 2010 in Prague Jubileum synagogue based in the jewish historic center of the city for 6 months.
Currently I am in search of another places suitable to host this exhibition in: Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Poland, Slovenia, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
